O Allah! Forgive every sin that I have committed and every error that I have made. O Allah! I endeavour to draw myself nigh to Thee through Thy invocation. And I pray to Thee to intercede on my behalf. And I entreat Thee by Thy benevolence to draw me nearer to Thee. And grant me that I should be grateful to Thee and inspire me to remember and to invoke Thee.

I am feeling blessed

Because I have:

- a wonderful family

- A husband who understands exactly what I am going through and leaves me to myself when I am having one of my moody moments (ie hating everything and everyone within a 2cm radius)

- A sister who turns up out of the blue just about weekly to clean the house eventhough her life is full with responsibility of her own (Thanks Ana!)

- A sister who reassures me that I do look normal and that I am beautiful and that I am perfect just the way that I am (Thanks mimi!)

- A sister who never fails to make me laugh away my blues (Thanks Mon!)

- A sister who lets me vent and only rolls her eyes occasionally (Thanks Rania!)

- 2 brothers that are actually excited about another neice in the family (thanks Zou and Hamoudy!)

- parents who still spoil me 7 years longer than they needed to (but who says there are any rules?)

- a very clever 4 year old who actually helps me around the house with the stuff that she is able to do (putting away plastic dishes, the washing after we have folded it together etc)

- a very active little baby in utero! She is healthy and I am proud to have her within me

I love you all so very much

- a uni degree that will be over forever in 2 weeks

- a roof over my head, a car, clothes on my back (and belly), food on the table (and in my belly), and a house we now call a home

- the ability to see that I am blessed

Thank you Dear Allah (swt) for all that You have given me and for all that You continue to give me. There is no way that I, as Your worshipper, could ever repay You for what You bestow upon me. What I do attempt to do, will never be enough. I wish to worship You for all time and beyond.

In the Name of Allah, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate
Oh Light! Oh All-holy!
Oh first of those who are first
Oh last of those who are last
Oh Allah forgive me those sins which tear apart safeguards
Oh Allah forgive me those sins which draw down adversities
Oh Allah forgive me those sins which alter blessings
Oh Allah forgive me those sins which hold back supplication
Oh Allah forgive me those sins which cut down the hopes
Oh Allah forgive me those sins which draw down tribulation
Oh Allah forgive me every sin I have committed and every mistake I have made
Oh Allah I seek nearness to Thee through remembrance of Thee
I seek intercession from Thee with Thyself, and I ask Thee through Thy magnificence to bring me near to Thy proximity to provide me with gratitude toward Thee and to inspire me with Thy remembrance.
